These young Peregrine Falcons were once an endangered species due to pesticides. They will mature to be the fastest aerial predator . The classic stoop from above the quarry is breathtaking in its reckless speed and adroit maneuvering. I was facinated by this stage between the fuzzy chick and the impressive mature falcon.
